Kineret: Unraveling the Magical Secrets of Israel’s Enchanting Lake!

fun at Israels Kineret!

Let’s have some fun at Israels Kineret! Here is a short blog about the Kineret, also known as the Sea of Galilee. Short because really – all you should do is grab your sunscreen, sunglasses, and get in the water and enjoy!

Besides being the spot to cool down on a hot day, the Kineret is also a religious prized place. The Kineret is a historical place as it holds significant biblical and cultural importance, with numerous stories and events from ancient times linked to its shores. If you are interested in these aspects, you can join tours and even go on a boat to get the whole experience. At the Kineret, you’ll find various sections, some with lifeguards on duty, while others are without, so consider that, especially if you are traveling with kids.

If you are here for fun only, you can rent a kayak, paddleboard, or just enjoy a swim. If you bring your gear, you can find spots to have a BBQ. If you have some time in the country and are a camper by heart, this is the place to stay at least one night to gather at a campfire and dip your toes in the water at night.

And If you visit the north of the Sea of Galilee, stop at Caffe Artur to get a snack, coffee, or pizza for the hungry ones. You can enjoy the view and relax after a long day in the sun.
